I am extremely passionate about Indigenous issues, and all facets of Indigenous struggles. I have worked in Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Lands claims, which allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of the legal systems for First Nation land claims in Canada. However, this was not the beginning of my introduction to Indigenous politics. I grew up in a home that was surrounded and occupied with people heavily involved in Indigenous politics. Recently on march 19 2007 I marked my 20rd birthday and Taking it global joined me in celebrating by sending me a most wonderful e-card I have ever received and I am grateful. For the team being there for me have indeed inspired me further to do great things.

Until poverty, illiteracy, and a plethora of other ills are no more, young people will continue to grow into adulthood as they are: restricted, under-developed and without reaching their potentials.
